Method: on what basis an order gets published

No news here. This section explains one thing: which document earns a step the label «fixed», when we write «varies», and when we write nothing at all. Two guides follow.

What counts as a source

Publishing a step on this site requires one of three kinds of source. Nothing else counts — not a forum post, not another site’s review, not an operator’s promotional copy.

  • A rule the operator or the game provider publishes THEMSELVES: cashier rules, bonus terms, a table paytable, a provider RTP sheet.
  • The public register of a licensing authority — a list that can be searched by number.
  • A document the player can hold personally: a bank statement, an app’s transaction history, the ID of a live round.

Why a step is marked FIXED

FIXED: FIXED the step is fixed by a published rule — its place in the order cannot be swappedVARIES: VARIES the step exists everywhere but its content differs by operator — read it in their terms—: — we publish nothing here: no measurement of ours exists

FIXED is a strong claim and it is only made on the first or second kind of source: if a published rule holds a step in place, the step cannot be moved. VARIES means the step exists everywhere but its content differs — in which case we say what differs and where to read it, and we invent no figure.

The «—» mark is the one we most want to use and the one that annoys readers most. It means we have no measurement, so we print no number. Payout speed is the classic case: measuring it would take repeated trials on real accounts across many operators, and we run no such trials.

How a correction is made

When a rule changes, or when the document we read turns out to have been wrong, the text is corrected and the last-updated date at the foot of the page changes. A withdrawn claim is not hidden: what changed is noted in the text itself, because deleting a mistake is not the same as correcting it.

There is no fixed update cadence, and that is deliberate. Promises like «updated weekly» mislead more than a real change does: when no rule has changed there is nothing to update. No author name is invented either — an editorial desk stands behind this section, not a named individual.

The guides

The order of a bonus: which money goes first

A wagering requirement is a sequence: the bonus is claimed, two balances appear, wagering counts, the stake cap closes, then either the requirement or the clock runs out.

The responsible-play order

Budget, deposit limit, session length, break mechanism and outside support — the order arithmetic fixes.

The design law of this site

This part of the method page is not about content, but it comes from the same principle. The site’s palette is a ladder of eight rungs: one hue, a constant lightness step, and saturation that falls as lightness rises. As a result contrast is computed from the DISTANCE between two rungs — a legible pair is counted rather than guessed.

The palette of this site is a ladder of eight rungs at one hue, with a constant lightness step. Contrast is therefore a function of the distance between two rungs — a legible pair is counted, not guessed.
Rungs apartContrastWhat that distance is used for
11,32:1never carries text
22,03:1never carries text
33,22:1borders, hairlines, disabled controls
45,17:1body text — the floor for WCAG AA
58,24:1the button and its label
612,15:1text on a panel
717,23:1text on paper

The practical benefit: to check whether text is legible on a background you do not choose a colour, you check that there are four rungs between them. Nothing here is a «brand colour» — the button fill is rung three, and that is all it is.

Frequently asked questions

What is published on this blog?

Procedure orders and their sources. Each piece opens one sequence: the steps, who controls each step, and which steps a published rule fixes.

What counts as a source?

A rule the operator or provider publishes themselves, the public register of a licensing authority, and any document a player can check personally — a bank statement, an app history, a round ID.

What happens when something is wrong?

The piece is corrected and the last-updated date at the foot of the page changes. A withdrawn claim is not hidden: what changed is noted in the text.

How often is it updated?

When a rule changes. There is no fixed cadence, because an invented schedule misleads more than a real change does.

Last updated: 2026-08-19. Every step above is read off a rule its own operator or provider publishes, or is marked as varying, or is left blank. Nothing here is a measurement we took, and nothing here is a ranking.
